• What is a constant force spring?

A constant force spring is a spring that can maintain constant elasticity within a corresponding stroke. This spring is mainly used for linear motion, and its rebound force is often used. Compared with ordinary tension springs, constant force springs have a different internal structure. It consists of a helical metal plate that is curved inside, so that each coil of metal plate is tightly wound inside the metal plate. When the sheet metal is stretched or twisted, the internal stresses resist the load and create a constant spring force.
